Gymnast Ing Yueh finally shines for herself with a gold


SINGAPORE: Gymnast Tan Ing Yueh has stepped out of Farah Ann Abdul Hadi's shadow by winning gold in the women's uneven bars event.

The 19-year-old turned out a near perfect routine on the bars to score 12.766 to win her first individual medal in her debut SEA Games. Ava Lorein Verdeflor of the Philippines took the silver with 12.366 while Farah won bronze with 12.200.
