Ruoning admits the course of her title defence won’t run smooth

PETALING JAYA: China’s Yin Ruoning (pic) has downplayed her chances of making a second successive title winning run in this week’s Maybank Championship at Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club.

With a thrilling, bogey-free final round of 65, Ruoning eked out a one-stroke victory over her close friend Jeeno Thitikul of Thailand to secure her fifth career win on the LPGA Tour last year.
