THE last of the men’s majors this season – the 153rd British Open – has been lined up at Royal Portrush Golf Club in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, starting on Thursday.
And going by what we witnessed in the other big three championships of 2025, we should be in store for another cracker of a tournament, pitting the world’s best players against each other amidst a genuine test of golf skills on a tract that is unlikely to yield any comforts.
