KUALA LUMPUR: China’s Yin Ruoning claimed the Maybank Championship trophy for her third LPGA Tour title of the season at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club (KLGCC) yesterday.

Ruoning prevailed in a thrilling final round battle against Thailand’s Jeeno Thitikul and South Korea’s Ryu Hae-ran, who were also the joint leaders at the start of the day.
