Shinnecock to host US Open champiosnhips

The United States Golf Association (USGA) has announced that in 2036, Shinnecock Hills Golf Club will host both the 136th US Open and 91st US Women’s Open, with the events taking place in consecutive weeks.

“Few places can match the historic importance of Shinnecock Hills to golf in the United States,” said John Bodenhamer, USGA chief championships officer.
