ONE of the LPGA Tour’s celebrated winners, So Yeon Ryu, announced her retirement from the game this week.

And it came in a week that saw the Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) move to resume its Certificate in Greenkeeping (CIG) programme in Thailand and the Hong Kong Open get the nod as the Asian Tour’s International Series Tournament of the Year.
