PETALING JAYA: Malcolm Ting lived up to being the favourite heading into the Toyota Tour Qualifying School Leg 1 by winning with a narrow one-stroke margin at the Tiara Melaka Golf & Country Club yesterday.

Malcom, 21, had a final score of 216 which secured him the slim win over Hafiy Suhaili with 217, and Hariz Hezri in third with 220.
