PETALING JAYA: Despite the short time between the announcement and tee off of the IRS Prima Malaysian Open last weekend, the nation’s biggest golf tournament was a resounding success.
This was the view expressed by Malaysian Golf Association (MGA) secretary-general Datuk Zulkifli Ismail, as the tournament concluded on Sunday with Spaniard David Puig winning the US$1mil (RM4.78mil) prize purse at the Mines Resort and Golf Club.
