KUALA LUMPUR: Rookie pro Khavish Varadan (pic) managed to come out of a challenging day on the course to end up as the top Malaysian finisher at the IRS Prima Malaysian Open at the Mines Resort and Golf Club yesterday.

It wasn’t smooth sailing for the 23-year-old in the final round as Khavish finished with a three-under 68 for a total of 15-under, placing him in joint 13th.
