Kevin comes through a patchy performance to share lead at Malaysian Open

Off it goes: Kevin Yuan of Australia hitting a shot during the second round of the Malaysian Open.

KUALA LUMPUR: Australian golfer Kevin Yuan took a harder route but enjoyed the same successful outcome as Malaysian rookie Khavish Varadan in the IRS Prima Malaysian Open.

Kevin returned a seven-under 64 to top the leaderboard with Khavish, who continued his dream debut with a six-under 65 as both shared the half-way lead at the Mines Resort and Golf Club yesterday.
