KUALA LUMPUR: Golfer Gavin Green is out to hit the ground running as he set his sights on a ticket to The Open championship at the US$1mil (RM4.78mil) IRS Prima Malaysian Open starting today at The Mines Resort and Golf Club.

European Tour campaigner Gavin, who is leading the local assault this week, believed his game is in a good place and has already prepared a comprehensive strategy for an assault on the top three.
