Atthaya goes from fun to fab at Asia Pacific Cup

PETALING JAYA: World No. 9 Atthaya Thitikul (pic) of Thailand entered this week’s Simone Asia Pacific Cup in Jakarta with the intention to just have fun but she turned the tournament into a one-woman exhibition show after securing a commanding seven-shot victory yesterday.

Starting the day with a five-shot cushion, Atthaya faced little threat as she traded five birdies against two bogeys for a solid three-under 69 at the Pondok Indah Golf Course.
