Siwakorn pips local Hariz in playoff for first international title

SUBANG JAYA: Thailand’s Siwakorn Kriangkrai narrowly denied newly crowned Malaysian Amateur champion Hariz Hezri his second title in a row in the Saujana Amateur Championships.

Siwakorn, who will turn 17 next week, beat Hezri to the title through a playoff after both ended the three-day tournament with 217 at the Palm Course of Saujana Golf and Country Club yesterday.
