PETALING JAYA: It must be the nasi lemak and chicken rice that are having a good effect on American Rose Zhang.

The sensational rookie, only 20, claimed a one-shot lead at the Maybank Championship after a masterful third-round display to pull ahead of Thai duo Atthaya Thitikul and Jasmine Suwannapura at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club.
