Harsh penalty throws Natasha off course in Jakarta

PETALING JAYA: What would have been a day to rejoice turned into despair for young Malaysian golfer Natasha Andrea Oon in the inaugural Simone Asia Pacific Cup on Sunday.

After the end of the final round, the 20-year-old finished fourth with four-under 212 but was given a 41-stroke penalty due to technical reasons at the Pondok Indah Golf Course in Jakarta, Indonesia.
