THIS past week was another eventful one in the world of golf, loaded with absorbing action on the Tours and telling developments off the course.
Cameron Smith’s triumph at the Players Championship on the US PGA Tour was a close-run thing, winning by a single stroke. So too were the wins on the DP World Tour (formerly European Tour) and LPGA Tour where playoffs were needed when Pablo Larrazabal claimed the MyGolfLife Open and Nanna Koerstz Madsen won the Honda LPGA Thailand in Pattaya.
