Three top female golfers to miss SEA Games

Natasha Andrea Oon impressed with an opening two-under 69 at the inaugural Women's Amateur Asia-Pacific Championship in Singapore.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Golf Association (MGA) have to face the upcoming Vietnam SEA Games scheduled from May 12-23 without three of their top golfers due to their involvement in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) events in the United States.

They are Natasha Andrea Oon, Ashley Lau Jen Wen and Khavish Varadan.Natasha and Ashley, who finished runners-up in the women’s team event at 2019 Philippines Games, are currently the two highest-ranked women’s golfers in Southeast Asia based on the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR).
