Local charity tournament raises RM50k

THE Malaysia Retail Chain Association (MRCA) Branding Education Charity Foundation successfully organised their 2022 charity golf tournament at Tropicana Golf & Country Resort in Petaling Jaya where some RM50,000 was raised.

With guest of honour and B&G Capital Resources Berhad founder and executive chairman Tan Sri Barry Goh Ming Choon in attendance, along with foundation chairman Datuk Lee Hwa Cheng, MRCA president Shirley Tay, joint organising chairmen Jordan Ng and Brian Tham, past presidents, working committees, MRCA excos and council members, representatives of donor companies and guests, the tournament enjoyed an overwhelming response with 124 golfers in the field – all flights taken up within the first two weeks of its launch.
