Bogeys prove costly for Gavin as he fails to make cut

PETALING JAYA: A quadruple double bogey on the closing hole ended Malaysian top golfer Gavin Green’s hopes of making the weekend cut in the BMW PGA Championship in Surrey, England.

What should have been a splendid second round effort was wiped out after Gavin ended with the disastrous end in the par-five hole 18 at the Wentworth Golf Club on Friday.
