Tantalising: Kelly fought bravely against the rough weather conditions and tricky Scottish Links of Royal Troon Golf Club but it wasn’t enough for her to make the cut.

PETALING JAYA: Third time’s still not the charm for national No. 1 Kelly Tan as she fell agonisingly short of the cut at the Women’s British Open.

The 26-year-old Kelly’s first Major campaign in four years ended on Friday when she missed out by just one shot at the unforgiving Royal Troon Golf Club, where only the leader managed to stay under par.
