Mizuno Golf ST200X Series

A COLLABORATION between Mizuno’s Japanese and American research and development teams has spawned the ST200 Series of metal woods, a design that has capitalised on the momentum achieved through the award winning ST190 Series.

“The new ST200 Series has enjoyed fast adoption by contracted and uncontracted Tour players from across the globe,” said Mizuno USA Chris Voshall.

Japan LPGA Tour pro Erica Hara was the first to put the ST200X in her bag for tournament play at the Daio Paper Elleair Ladies in Matsuyama, Ehime, Japan.

The ST200 Series offers a choice of three different head designs in the driver, each with a Beta rich Titanium face and each offering a different ball flight. The series also includes the ST200 fairway woods.

The ST200 driver delivers both low spin and forgiveness, and is a high-stability wood for players seeking straight line distance and predictability. Built around a resilient Beta rich forged Titanium face, this driver is engineered for enhanced feedback and control.

The ST200G has been crafted for fast swing speed efficiency and offers spin rates adjustable from mid to ultra-low. It shares many of the same features and benefits as the ST200 and has also engineered for adjustability via the intuitive Fast Track system. With twin 7g weights on longer external tracks, the ST200G offers effective weight movement, allowing from mid/low to ultra-low spin positions.

The ST200X driver delivers a high launch with a draw bias and has been designed to help those players with mid to lower swing speeds. The lightweight design encourages a higher ball flight as well and has been made to work best with Mizuno’s own Japan specification MFusion 39g shaft.

The ST200X head has its own unique shape, additional heel weight and upright lie angle – all working together to encourage distance and high-draw flight.

The ST200 fairway woods feature a new multi-thickness Maraging steel face for increased ball speeds. They combine low spin and massive forgiveness for minimal distance loss from off-centre strikes. The fairway woods set up nicely at address with a modified Tour-ready profile.

The new Mizuno ST200 series comes with price tags of: RM2,850 ST200G driver, RM2,550 ST200 driver, RM2,550 ST200X driver and RM1,450 ST200 fairway wood.
