RORY McIlroy led this week’s headlines, for me at least, with his call to have the Ryder Cup postponed to next year. And it is something I fully agree with.
There were a couple of other interesting story-lines like Turner Sports’ proposed Champions for Charity clash between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson that is expected to feature American football quarterbacks Tom Brady and Peyton Manning next month. But it was McIlroy’s take on the Ryder Cup that stirred the most emotion.
