American organisers gave the circuit short-shrift when probed that it might have deliberately sidelined the issue

American Justin Thomas has been a winner of the CJ Cup, one of the events run by the US PGA in Asia.

THE decision to not to acknowledge the Asian Tour and the PGA Tour Series-China in a joint statement from some of the world’s leading circuits and organisers last week was a deliberate move, according to some observers.

And as TeeUp sort to establish whether it was indeed a deliberate omission, the US PGA Tour itself neither denied nor confirmed that that was the case.
