Kelly on course for Olympics despite LPGA Tour halt

Not enough tourneys: Kelly Tan has only had two starts to date this year.

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian top women’s golfer Kelly Tan remains upbeat about qualifying for her second straight Olympic Games despite the ongoing suspension of the US LPGA Tour.

The 26-year-old’s hopes of playing in the Volvik Founders Cup in Arizona from March 19-22 and Kia Classic (March 26-29) in Los Angeles have gone up in smoke following the postponement of the two events due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
