MOVING to Asia last year was probably the best decision made by American Trevor Simsby to revive his professional golf career.

Simsby had struggled to find his footing in the United States as the 27-year-old saw in awe his peers – Taiwanese Cheng Tsung-pan, his ex-teammate at the University of Washington and world No. 4 Justin Thomas, whom he had competed against in the collegiate golf, making headways on the US PGA Tour.
