IT’S been almost a year now since a wide range of amendments was made to the Rules of Golf and yet there are still some good golfers out there who have no inkling of some of the basic changes enforced on January 1,2019 and others who still have difficulty in trying to come to grasps with it.

It was at the beginning of the year that the R&A, custodians of the global game, except the United States and Mexico, who fall under the jurisdiction of the United States Golf Association (USGA), released a bundle of new rules.
