Spain's Jon Rahm is in prime position to have a crack at the Race to Dubai title.

WITH only a handful of tournaments to go before the European Tour’s season-ending DP World Tour Championship, Dubai next month, things are really hotting up nicely and there is an air of great anticipation of who the winner might well be.

The Italian Open comes to a close in Rome today and after this there will only be two full-field European Tour events this month - the French Open from Oct 17 to 20 and the Portugal Masters from Oct 24 to 27.
