Amir Benno wins inaugural UnderArmour event

THE inaugural UnderArmour Tournament, powered by MST Golf, proved an enjoyable outing for most of the field 108 players at Palm Garden Golf & Country Club in Putrajaya, more so with good weather conditions.

Four-handicapper Amir Benno emerged as the champion on countback from Mohd Nasir Othman after both returned with 41 points to their credit. Mohd Firdaus Ahmad took third place, also on countback, with 39 points in a tournament that was played with a System 36 Stableford format and had loads of attractive novelty and lucky draw prizes offered.
