Teen golfer Junie in joint lead at Ladies Amateur Open

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian teenager Junie Khaw and Australia’s Ashleigh Kaylah Hall both carded a two-under 69 to emerge joint leaders after the first round of the Malaysian Ladies Amateur Open (MLAO) at the Awana Golf and Country Resort in Genting Highlands.

Junie, who is studying at the Tarleton State University in Texas, is playing under the Malaysian Golf Association (MGA) banner and has a handicap of 1.
