PETALING JAYA: Gavin Kyle Green’s Olympic bid is gaining momentum, thanks to a string of fine performances on the European Tour.

The 25-year-old continued to enjoy a steady rise on the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR), with his tied-ninth result at last week’s Irish Open which lifted him 12 rungs to No. 206.
