Cho Minn Thant at the helm of the Tour.
THIS has been a week of some serious activity in the higher echelons of the Asian Tour and one that many hope will be the start of a new era characterised by real growth and better playing opportunities for the players.
At the beginning of the week the Asian Tour announced the appointment of Cho Minn Thant as their new Tour commissioner and chief executive officer. At the end of the week came the announcement of Charlie Tingey taking on the role of director of partnerships.
