HOKOTA (Japan): Australia’s Becky Kay let it rip with a birdie binge to finish with a sensational eight-under 64 to lead the Women’s Amateur Asia Pacific (WAAP) championship.
Kay pulled off a bogey-free round, which was the lowest in the history of the championship, bettering the six-under-65 effort of reigning champion Atthaya Thitikul of Thailand in the first round in Singapore last year at the Royal Golf Club yesterday.
