THE golf industry was in a state of shock and sadness this week, shaken by the untimely passing last Sunday of Arie Irawan while on Tour in China. He was 28.
He was on Hainan Island for the Sanya Championship, the second of this season’s US PGA Tour Series-China, where he missed the cut after Friday’s second round.
