ANGKATAN Bersatu Anak Muda (Armada), the Youth Wing of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) hosted their fund-raising golf tournament at Palm Garden Golf Club in IOI Resort City, Putrajaya and what a success it turned out to be.
The event’s director, Syaiful Syazrin Zhul Bharin, who is a a former deputy head of Armada Wilayah Persekutuan and a secretary of Armada National Bureau of Welfare & Companions, said it was held “to focus on fund-raising for political activities throughout 2019 and beyond.
“Over RM100,000 was raised at the tournament and among those programmes and activities that will be aided in the community are the disabled, senior citizens, single mothers, homeless people as well as sharing useful knowledge and getting closer to the rural communities.
The Minister of Youth and Sports and Armada Youth Chief Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, said: “We want to use the right and proper channels to raise funds, one of which is to call all our friends to come and play and make a little contribution for the future of Bersatu.”
Armada welcomed PPBM president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to the inaugural tournament, as well as Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Md Yusof the Minister of Entrepreneur Development, Datuk Eddin Syazlee Shith the Deputy Minister of Communications and Multimedia, Adhif Shan Dengkil assemblyman and Datuk Abdul Rashid Asari, PPBM Negeri Selangor Chief.
The winner of the tournament was Azrul Mukhrith while Salleh Hudin Imran was second and Aidi Ahmad third.
Each took home a trophy along with a piece of gym equipment.
The nearest-to-the-pin was Ahmad Norhisyam while Suhaimi Mustafa won the nearest-to-line prize.
