Birdie blitz sets up match play victory

Sivachandran emeregd with the Match Play title at Kinrara.

S. SIVACHANDHRAN won the Professional Golf of Malaysia (PGM) Tour’s Match Play Closed Championship at Kinrara Golf Club in Puchong but not before he had to negotiate six rounds of golf and a strong field that included most of the country’s leading pros.

This was Siva’s first victory since 2014 and left him to declare after the event that he was indeed a relieved man and also a happy one.
