Koepka deserves the accolades

Johnson (right) had all sorts of problems with his putter over the weekend, which was in total contrast to Koepka (left), who went on to retain his US Open title at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club.

THE record will show that Brooks Koepka won the US Open for a second straight season with a one-shot victory at Shinnecock Hills Country Club in Southampton, New York.

What might have escaped the attention of some observers was that this tournament, the second Major championship of the year, was loaded with all sorts of bits and pieces of excitement –maybe none more so than Tommy Fleetwood’s fourth and final round 63.
