Massive field at fund-raiser

LENDING a helping hand to those less fortunate in society, the Lions Club of Kuala Lumpur (Host) organised a fund-raiser where 120 golfers teed off and had some RM80,000 tipped into its coffers at the end of the day.

Dubbed the Charity Friendship Tournament, the event was held at the Tropicana Golf & Country Resort in Petaling Jaya and saw some of the proceeds donated to three charitable organisations, including the KL Lions Renal Centre in Batu Complex, Kuala Lumpur, which received RM10,000 each.
