DESPITE the gloom surrounding the Malaysian Open, there is a chance that after an absence of three years the event could be staged again this season.
This was the view expressed by Malaysian Golf Association (MGA) president Admiral (Rtd) Tan Sri Mohd Anwar Mohd Nor, who told TeeUp that they had an option of two slots where the national Open could fit in later this year.
