Rhaasrikanesh and Beng Keat help Malaysia finish runners-up in Banten


PETALING JAYA: K. Rhaasrikanesh and Lim Beng Keat rose to the occasion on the final day to help Malaysia secure a creditable runners-up finish in the Lion City Cup (boys’ Under-17) of the South-East Asian team golf championships.

Rhaasrikanesh fired a five-under 67 while Beng Keat chipped in with a 69 for the two-best counting scores of 136 for Malaysia to finish with a four-day total of 566 at the Gading Raya Padang Golf & Club in Banten, Indonesia, yesterday.
