PETALING JAYA: Natasha Andrea Oon made her US Girls’ Junior Championship debut on Monday with a modest goal – just to make the cut.

But the 16-year-old Malaysian has exceeded her expectations after beating American Ashley Gilliam 2-up in the match play tournament to cruise into the round of 32 at the Boone Valley Golf Club in Augusta, Missouri, on Wednesday.
