Tans eye Muscat glory

On stage (from left) Dalit Bay director of golf Aaron Johnston, Peng Juan, Yong Woon and Prudential Astro Masters organising chairman P. Jeganathan.

TAN Peng Juan and Tan Yong Woon share the same surname and after the third round of the Prudential Astro Masters both booked their slots in the grand finals in Muscat, Oman this November.

The two players were in a full field of 120 participants at the Dalit Bay Golf & Country Club outside Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and ended up with identical scores of two-over 74 gross. However, Peng Juan got the nod when his back nine score of 36 was two lower than his opponent.
