KUALA LUMPUR: Ashley Lau (pic) may not be eligible for the top prize, but she insists there will be no lack of motivation to defend her title at the AmBank SportExcel International Junior Golf Championships.

A lucrative one-year scholarship worth A$45,000 (RM147,000) at the Hills International Golf Academy in Australia awaits the overall champion in the three-day event, which begins today at the Templer Park Country Club in Rawang.
