PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s Kelly Tan plunged down the leaderboard at the US Women’s Open after a disastrous third round.

The 22-year-old, who was joint sixth with a four-under 140 after the second round, carded a six-over 78 on Saturday in the third Major of the season. She dropped to joint 32nd on two-over 218, nine shots behind leader Lydia Ko of New Zealand.
