PETALING JAYA: Thailand’s Witchayanon Chothirunrungrueng looks to have swiftly put last week’s agonising miss for the Malaysian Amateur Open (MAO) title behind him.

The 19-year-old, who lost in the playoff to Lachlan Barker of Australia in the MAO, fired a four-under 68 for a share of the first-round lead of the MPI Generali Saujana Amateur Championship on Tuesday.
