Filipino Ruperto snatches lead as Malaysian challenge fizzle in Rawang

PETALING JAYA: Ruperto Zaragosa III of the Philippines seized a two-stroke lead going into the final round as the local challenge faded at the Malaysian Amateur Open.

The 18-year-old Filipino made six birdies to offset four dropped shots to post a two-under 70 for a five-under 211 total at the Templer Park Country Club in Rawang on Saturday.
