(Reuters) - World number one Lydia Ko, the co-leader, was lining up a 15-foot birdie putt on her final hole when second-round play was suspended due to the threat of lightning at the Coates Golf Championship in Ocala, Florida, on Thursday.

Heavy rain then swept across the course at Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club, forcing play to be abandoned for the day with only 22 players in the field of 120 back in the clubhouse having completed their rounds.
