KUALA LUMPUR: England’s world No. 44 Matthew Fitzpatrick, regarded as one of the most exciting young golfers in Europe, will be in action at the inaugural Maybank Championship Malaysia (MCM) from Feb 18-21.

The 21-year-old, who won the British Masters and completed five top-three finishes in his rookie European Tour last season, is one of the four latest top names to confirm their participation in the US$3mil (RM12.6mil) championship at the Royal Selangor Golf Club (RSGC).
