SHAH ALAM: They were seen as the weakest link in Team Asia. But Malaysians Danny Chia and Nicholas Fung proved the naysayers wrong by getting half a point against Victor Dubuisson and Soren Kjeldsen of Team Europe in the four-balls event on the opening day of the EurAsia Cup.

Their familiarity with the Glenmarie Golf and Country Club course clearly proved decisive.
