PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s Danny Chia hit another high, this time winning the Hilton Asian Tour Golfer of the Month for October.
The 42-year-old was unanimously voted as October’s winner after he ended his 13-year title drought on the region’s premier Tour by winning the Mercuries Taiwan Masters on Oct 4. He finished with a three-under 285 for a two-stroke win to take home US$130,000 (RM559,000).
