Sukree carded a 67 to jump clear of overnight joint-leader Akhmal.

KUALA LUMPUR: Golfer Sukree Othman needed two crucial birdies in his closing three holes to take a two-shot lead into the final round of the RM200,000 PGA Championship of Malaysia.

The 39-year-old bounced back from a poor start to card a solid two-under 70 for a three-day total of 11-under 205 at the Kelab Rahman Putra Malaysia in Sungai Buloh.
